Syed Ali Shirazi explores the often misunderstood concept of 'Jihad', addressing misconceptions and stereotypes while offering solutions based on his religious beliefs and life experience. A Mechanical Engineering PhD from KU Leuven, Syed is a peace researcher, activist, and expert on social religion, history, and political diversity. He co-founded the PhD Society Leuven and PEARL VZW, and works with Bozar to promote religious harmony through Sufi music events. He has spoken at universities and international conferences on peace, Jihad, and Sufi Islam, and is a victim of terrorism who offers insights on trauma recovery and spreading real knowledge.
