[Global Talk] Making Sense of the Cosmos

Astronomy is often seen as a visual science, but in this talk, Katrien will guide you on a cosmic journey using only your ears. She is a STE(A)M coordinator, manager of ESERO-Belgium, and associate researcher at the Institute of Astronomy at KU Leuven. Katrien is also a professor of Astrophysics at the University of Antwerp and VUB. Her research focuses on stellar astrophysics, especially variable stars and asteroseismology. Passionate about scientific research and science communication, she has received international awards for both.
